DYED BLUE: A DOCUMENTARY ON ROSA CHANG (2026)
This project is set on documenting the journey of Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) alumni Rosa Chang. This documentary was created in part of celebrating MICA’s institutional bicentennial. This group project was created by Akshara Arunprakash, Peri K, and me.
Rosa Chang is a Baltimore and NYC based artist with a focus on traditional indigo cultivation and dyeing. You can watch the finished doc here.
THE TRUTH Animatic
This animatic was a collaborative project between me and another MICA student, Jeremy! I created rough storyboards based off of his original script and character designs, which he then compiled, refined, and edited into a full animatic!
LILÉE DE LA VALLÉE (2024)
Dive into a whimsical patch of forest, where Lilée longs to join her fellow Faunes on land. Who knew the swamp could be so lonely?
I developed this animatic and story in 2024 while taking a pre-production animation class. I spent three months visually developing the characters and background, along with the script, characters, and story.
NINE OF TAILS (2025)
After being seduced by a gumiho, a woman is bestowed with its ancient power. At the risk of haunting or damnation, she must choose between morality and supernatural consequences.
Nine of Tails is the most recent personal project I’ve worked on, based on the Korean legend of the 구미호 (gumiho), the nine-tail fox. I’m currently working on compositing its fully fledged animatic.
