This documentary focuses on the artistic practice of Rosa Chang. She specializes in teaching Korean traditional techniques of indigo dyeing. This film was a group project completed in May 2026 by Akshara Arunprakash, Peri K., and Ruby Min.

This project challenged me to create an animated visualizer that followed the time of the music. I composited the song on Garageband, aiming for a mix of club music with a hint of goofiness. I wanted the characters to show the best part of a girl’s night out: getting ready together, of course!

Reforestation is a 2D-animated short film I completed in 2024. I completed it within three months, animated in Photoshop and composited in AfterEffects. I was inspired by my original character, Shaylah, a demigoddess of nature and earth.

I was prompted to start this project by a fortune cookie, which simply read, “be more direct”. The background and characters were completed in Illustrator, and rigged and animated in AfterEffects. I completed this in Fall of 2023, roused by my newfound roommate troubles of keeping the dishes clean.

I was moved to create this piece in early 2025 after my diagnosis of endometriosis. This provided an answer for my chronic pain, yet also opened a complicated route of questions regarding this under-researched disease. This video features real photos from several different medical examinations of mine, altered for artistic purposes.
